Religious Education Director
Lisa Benzer has been working for St. Vincent's as the Director of Religious Education since July 2014. She and her husband, Shawn, and their 3 children, live in Orchard Park, NY. Lisa enjoys challenging others to understand and appreciate their Catholic faith and believes that it is most important that others feel a connection with Jesus in a close and personal way. She has been instrumental in bringing 2 flourishing programs to our Diocese : Encounter Ministries and St. Paul Street Evangelization. Both ministries are designed to pray with people, so that people from all walks of life, have the opportunity to experience the Lord's deep Love and unfathomable Mercy in a very intimate and profound way!
Youth Ministry, Life Teen Coordinator
Network/Social Media Administrator, Edge Coordinator
Hello! I have been with the parish since I was ten or eleven and moved from St. Catherine of Siena in West Seneca. During the day, I do technical computer science work and thought that I could bring that knowledge to our church community. I also am a big proponent of reaching out and making our church known to the greater community in Elma (and further). I've taught in first and seventh grade classrooms here, along with helping out on Life Teen Core. After we started the Edge program (7th and 8th grade dynamic religious education program), I helped on Core with that, and in 2016, I became the Edge Coordinator. I love working with the middle schoolers and want the best for them in their faith and their life. Please reach out to me with technological advancement opportunities or middle school kids that might be interested in joining Edge. Thank you!
